Swiss Vetterli 1881, produced by Waffenfabrik Bern, in fair condition with 50% finish. 3/5 Bore (sharp rifling but with mild pitting at the muzzle). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Bolt handle is slightly loose.
On the right side the stock has mild pressure marks at the rear and heavy pressure marks at the center. Forearm has light gouging in front of the receiver and a long scratch about halfway between the barrel band and end cap. On the left side the stock has heavy pressure marks at the rear. There is a round plug in the wrist that seems to be slightly loose. Mild pressure marks on the wrist. Forearm has light gouging before the end cap. On the underside there are light gouges along the stock.
Light to mild pitting throughout the rifle. Receiver has lightly worn finish. The barrel, barrel bands, and end cap have heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish.
Includes cleaning rod.
