Antique Swiss Vetterli 1871 in good condition with 80% finish. 2/5 Bore (light to mildly worn rifling, heavy pitting throughout bore). 2/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has a 1/4" crack on the underside at the tang. Forearm has a 2 1/2" crack on the underside at the rear edge, a chip on the right side at the rear upper edge, and small cracks along the upper edge between the middle barrel band and the forearm cap.
Front barrel band spring is cracked.
On the right side the forearm has mild pressure marks before the middle barrel band. On the left side the stock has heavy pressure marks on the butt. The stock is marked with "G A" and four dots. Mild pressure marks on the wrist. Mild gouge at the forward edge of the wrist. On the underside the forearm has a light gouge near the forward end of the checkering. Stock has heavy gouging on the top of the wrist.
Receiver has light pitting. All barrel bands have light to mild pitting. Barrel has light pitting. Trigger guard has heavy pitting.
Includes cleaning rod.
