Swiss K31 Carbine, private production produced in 1946, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Diopter sights installed.
Stock has long wood grain. Stock and handguard has well defined tiger striping throughout.
Handguard has a Schutzenfest 2010 sticker and a large decal of the coat of arms for Boswil, a municipality in canton Aargau.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks on the butt. There are a pair of metal studs, likely where a plaque bearing the original owner's name used to be installed. On the left side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark on the butt in front of the rear sling mount. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Long scratch before the front barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish.
Rear sight is a Grunig & Elmiger adjustable diopter mounted on a W+F Bern K-Type diopter mount. Front sight is an adjustable diopter.
Rear diopter has selectable color filters including clear, amber, blue, green, and two shades of grey.
Includes woven leather sling.
