Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1940, in very good condition with 85% original finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number.
Rear tangent sight has a micrometer device for fine adjustment to elevation.
Light finish wear throughout the furniture. Stock has numerous pressure marks and a checkered pattern around the forward end of the butt and on the grip on the left and right sides, as if it was clamped in a vise.
On the right side of the stock, there are numerous moderate to heavy pressure marks on and around the finger groove. Mild pressure marks before the rear barrel band and before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge in front of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are a few light gouges from the toe to the pistol grip. Handguard has a couple of gouges on the top side before the rear barrel band. In between the barrel bands, there is a mild pressure mark on the right side above the woodline and on the left side near the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn, with slightly heaver finish wear on the top side, forward of the loading slot. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Light finish wear on both barrel bands. Magazine plate has small marks in the finish around the magazine catch. Light edge wear and light finish wear on the trigger guard.
Receiver is P stamped.
