Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1945, in very good condition with 75% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the barrel (rebarreled with non-serialized Hammerli barrel). Diopter sights installed.
Bolt sleeve is an armory replacement with matching electropenciled serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges at the forward end of the butt and on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging at the woodline before the finger groove. Gouge at the forward edge of the stock in front of the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are heavy gouges on the butt. Light gouge on the wrist. Light scrapes between the barrel bands. Light gouge at the rear of the comb.
Handguard has light gouging on the left side between the ferrule and rear barrel band and heavy gouging on the top side before the rear barrel band. Schutzenfest participation sticker from 2002 in front of the ferrule.
Receiver finish is heavily worn and is approaching white. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light tool marks. Magazine plate has mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina.
No P stamp noted.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Diopter sights are installed. Rear sight is a Centra adjustable aperture diopter installed on a W+F Bern K-Type diopter mount. Front sight is an adjustable diopter.
Rear diopter has selectable color filters including clear, amber, blue, green, and two shades of grey.
Includes leather sling.
