Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1940, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. With diopter sights.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges at the rear of the butt. Light gouges and a mild pressure mark at the forward end of the butt. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Mild gouge below the rear sling mount. Light gouging before the rear barrel band and a mild gouge in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges and light to mild pressure marks between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Mild pressure marks and a heavy gouge on the comb. Mild gouge on the top of the wrist. Handguard has a mild gouge next to the ferrule and light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Rear barrel band has heavy patina. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine base has lightly worn finish.
Diopter sights are installed. Rear sight is an original selectable 6 aperture sight on a W+F Bern K-Type diopter mount. Front sight is a tunnel sight.

Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
