Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1944, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Diopter sights are installed.
Stock was made with two pieces of wood.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouging between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark and heavy gouge behind the rear sling mount. Large, mild pressure mark forward of the grip, above the trigger guard. Light gouge between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouging between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Heavy gouging along the comb. Handguard has small, heavy gouges behind the rear barrel band and light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear and light patina. Barrel has mild finish wear. Trigger guard has light finish wear.
P stamped. Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
W+F Bern K-Type diopter sights are installed. Rear diopter has six selectable apertures. Front sight is a tunnel sight.
Includes leather sling.
