Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1945, in very good condition with 93% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Diopter sights are installed.
On the right side of the stock, there are light pressure marks near the butt of the stock. Light to mild pressure marks on the grip. In front of the finger groove there are a few heavy pressure marks and gouging. Before the rear barrel band there are a couple of deep gouges. On the left side of the stock, there are light pressure marks throughout. Light pressure marks found along the grip. Gray colored paint transfer found on the grip and to the right of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock, there are light pressure marks, mostly found between the magazine plate and the rear barrel band. Light pressure marks along the comb. Deep gouge at the heel. The handguard has light pressure marks throughout. There is a moderate scratch on the top side, between the ferrule and rear barrel band. Heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
All bluing had been previously refurbished. Receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot and light finish wear on the left side near the serial number. Rear barrel band has some scuffing and surface scratches. Light tool marks around the front barrel band screw. Both magazine plate screws are blued instead of in the white. Butt plate has been polished.
Receiver is P stamped.
W+F Bern K-Type diopter sights are installed. Rear diopter has six selectable apertures.
