Product Description
Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1941, in very good condition with 93% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard non-matching serial number (935649). All others matching serial numbers. Diopter sights installed.
Includes W+F Bern's more rare "Type S" diopter mount, which mounts on the left side of the receiver, and six selectable apertures. The receiver was milled by Waffenfabrik Bern to accept the mount. The front S Type diopter sight is permanently installed as it replaces the original K31 front sight.
Furniture had been previously sanded and refinished. All bluing was refurbished, likely after the receiver was milled.

The left side of the stock was modified at the woodline to accommodate the Type S diopter mount. On the underside of the stock there are remnants of light gouging on the pistol grip. Light gouging to the left of the receiver tang.
Receiver finish is solid with little to no evident wear to the current finish. Rear barrel band has light tool marks. Front barrel band has light finish wear on the top side and light tool marks. Trigger guard has light finish wear.
