Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1942, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Diopter sights are installed. Includes matching serial number bayonet.
Furniture has been sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock, there are a few light gouges in front of the finger groove and a pair of heavy gouges before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are remains of light gouges around the edge of the finger groove. Light gouging on the heel of the stock.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Rear barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Light edge wear on the trigger guard.
W+F Bern K-Type diopter sights are installed. Rear diopter is a factory K-Type sight with six selectable apertures.
Includes leather sling.
Includes matching serial number model 1914 sawback bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Bern, with scabbard and leather frog. Bayonet has a light gouge on the right side wood grip and a heavy pressure mark on the left side wood grip. Leather frog's retention strap for the scabbard is heavily worn and is almost detached. Frog was made by G. Muller of Altikon (Zürich) in 1957.
