Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1941, in very good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Diopter sights are installed.
On the right side of the stock, there are light to mild pressure marks throughout the stock. Light gouges forward of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are light to mild pressure marks throughout the butt. There are two heavy impact marks on the edge of the butt plate, causing it to dig into the butt of the stock. Mild pressure marks around the finger groove. On the underside of the stock, there are mild pressure marks at the butt and light gouging near the toe. Mild pressure marks on the forearm between the magazine plate and the rear barrel band. Light handling wear along the comb of the stock and a gouge at the forward end of the comb, near the tang. Handguard has light to mild pressure marks throughout.
Receiver finish is lightly worn throughout. Light edge wear around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Front barrel band has light tool marks around its mounting screw. Trigger guard has light finish wear and light edge wear. Moderate finish wear on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped. Soldier's tag found under butt plate.
W+F Bern K-Type diopter sights are installed. Rear sight has six selectable apertures.
Includes leather sling.
Includes matching serial number model 1918 bayonet manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard and leather frog. Blade is in excellent condition. Light handling wear on the grips. Light surface marks on the right side of the pommel. Steel scabbard has light to mild finish wear. The sattler stamp on the frog is too worn to be legible.
