Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1941, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. With matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there is a light gouge on the butt near the rear of the comb. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge near the rear of the comb and a heavy gouge toward the forward end of the comb. "X" scratched near the top of the wrist. Long, light pressure mark in front of the finger groove, continuing onto the handguard. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has a light gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver was refinished with a black coating. Light scratches throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Magazine plate has spots of light finish wear. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine has light finish wear and light scratches.
P stamped. 59 stamped on the receiver tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1959.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
Includes matching serial number model 1918 bayonet, manufactured by Elsener Schwyz, with scabbard and leather frog. Blade is in excellent condition.
Scabbard has lightly worn finish and light pitting. Leather frog was made in 1942.
