Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1948, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has heavy gouging around the butt.
On the right side of the stock there are mild to heavy pressure marks throughout. Heavy gouge before the finger groove, above the magazine. Light gouging between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are heavy gouges at the forward end of the butt. Light gouging on the woodline before the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Heavy pressure mark behind the rear barrel band. Heavy pressure marks on the top of the wrist. Handguard has a light to mild gouge behind the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavily worn finish and mild patina on the right side. Light edge wear throughout the receiver. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish.
No P stamp noted. 54 stamped on the receiver tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1954.
Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
