Swiss K31, produced in 1948, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Unrepaired 1" crack at the receiver tang.
Furniture finish is overall heavily worn.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges around the pistol grip and wrist. Heavy gouge on the wrist was filled in with wood filler. Light gouges around the finger groove. Heavy gouging between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, there is heavy gouging at the butt. Small, heavy gouge behind the pistol grip and light gouges on the pistol grip and wrist. Light gouges and marks between the wrist and the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a long scratch on the wrist. Heavy gouging and a long scratch along the comb. The right side of the handguard has mild to heavy gouges between the ferrule and rear barrel band, and large, heavy gouges between the two barrel bands. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and heavy patina.
Receiver has light finish wear over the chamber and light edge wear around the loading slot.
Receiver tang is lightly double stamped and looks like the upper half of a P stamp. Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
