Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1942, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. Magazine non-matching serial number.
Stock may have been previously sanded and refinished as the Swiss ordnance stamp is not visible.
On the right side of the stock there is an unrepaired 1/4" crack at the rear edge of the finger groove. Light gouging at the woodline near the handguard ferrule. On the left side of the stock, there is a light pressure mark above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock, there are multiple scratches and light gouging about halfway between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Heavy gouge and heavy pressure mark on the comb. Handguard has numerous pressure marks throughout. Large, shallow gouge on the left side of the handguard between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Heavy finish wear and mild patina on the front barrel band. Magazine plate, trigger guard, and magazine base has scattered light pitting.
P stamped.
