Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1941, in very good condition with 85% finish. 3/5 Bore (light pitting, light to mildly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. Furniture, bolt, and magazine matching serial numbers. Barrel is a Hammerli-produced replacement with serial number 750.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light gouge at the forward end of the butt, near the pistol grip. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the forward end of the butt and light gouges forward of the wrist. On the underside of the stock, there is a heavy scratch on the wrist. Heavy pressure mark in front of the magazine plate. Multiple small, mild pressure marks along the forearm between the magazine plate and rear barrel band. Handguard has light gouging between the ferrule and rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light patina. Rear barrel band is in the white and has mild patina. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish, light patina, and light surface scratches.
P stamped. Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
