Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1940, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark on the butt near the toe. Light gouging in front of the finger groove and before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy scratch on the butt above the rear sling mount and a heavy pressure mark at the forward end of the comb. Light gouging on the wrist. Light gouging around the finger groove. Heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band and a heavy gouge before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there are light gouges on the toe. Heavy pressure mark at the heel. Heavy pressure mark and heavy scratch on the top of the wrist. Handguard has light gouging behind the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear around the loading slot. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish, light patina, and light surface marks.
P stamped. 52 stamped on the tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1952. Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
