Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1939, in good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting throughout). 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the left side of the stock, at the woodline before the finger groove, to the left of the receiver's serial number, a splice had been inserted. There is an unrepaired crack about 4 1/2" long coming off the edge of the insert.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt and grip. Heavy pressure mark below the finger groove. Mild pressure marks on the forearm between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouge in front of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock, there is a large, mild gouge on the right side. Light gouging along the comb. Handguard has several heavy gouges near the ferrule. Heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Mild finish wear on the barrel step. Handguard ferrule is in the white. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Light patina on the top of the front barrel band. Light finish wear on the trigger guard.
