Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1939, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there is a heavy gouge and heavy pressure marks around the butt. Heavy gouging on the wrist. Light gouging around the finger groove. A skull and crossbone was carved in front of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a heavy gouge at the forward end of the butt, rear of the wrist and a couple of light gouges on the wrist. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Light gouge in front of the magazine plate. Heavy pressure marks and light gouging at the forward end of the comb. Handguard has a light to mild pressure mark on the left side in front of the rear barrel band. Red stain around the stock and handguard before the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and light pitting. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine base has heavily worn finish.
No P stamp.
