Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1934, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, very light pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouge behind the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks behind the rear sling mount and marks in front of the sling mount that would have been caused by the button on the sling. Light gouging on the grip. Light gouging behind the finger groove. Light gouge behind the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has heavy pressure marks between the ferrule and rear barrel band, and a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light finish wear over the chamber and light patina on the shield. Rear barrel band finish is lightly worn and has light patina. Front barrel band finish is lightly worn.
P stamped. Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
