Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1934, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, light pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock was previously lightly sanded and refinished. On the right side of the stock, there are outlines at the butt where a pair of stickers had been previously applied. Mild gouge on the pistol grip. Several light gouges below the bolt release lever and around the finger groove. Mild pressure mark forward of the finger groove, below the handguard ferrule. On the left side of the stock, there is a mild gouge above the finger groove at the woodline. Light gouge at the woodline between the stock and handguard before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge at the toe. Handguard has four Schutzenfest participation stickers dating from 2009 to 2015. Heavy pressure mark before the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn and has light patina throughout. Both barrel bands have spots of heavy finish wear. Trigger guard and magazine has light edge wear.
P stamped. 62 stamped on the receiver tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1962.
Soldier's tag found under the butt plate.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
