Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1943, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Diopter sights are installed.
Barrel was made by Hammerli.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges throughout the butt. Light gouging below the bolt handle. Light gouging below the finger groove and mild pressure marks around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are mild to heavy pressure marks at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure mark at the forward end of the butt. Thin, heavy pressure mark running along the comb. Heavy pressure marks forward of the wrist. Light gouging above the magazine. On the underside of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges along the butt. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging at the rear of the comb. Handguard has light gouging and a heavy pressure mark near the ferrule. Heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band. Heavy gouging before the front barrel band.
All bluing was previously refurbished.
Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish and heavy patina. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light patina on the top side. Magazine plate has an area of heavy finish wear around the forward screw. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish.
Diopter sights are installed. Rear sight has six selectable apertures mounted on a W+F Bern K-Type mount. Original front sight blade is not present.

Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
