Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1944, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. Mild pressure marks around the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt below the sling mount. Mild pressure marks at the forward end of the butt. Mild pressure mark above the magazine. Mild pressure marks between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there are heavy pressure marks and light gouges along the butt. Light gouging before the front barrel band. Light gouging on the heel of the stock. Handguard has light gouges on the right side near the woodline between the ferrule and rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Heavy edge wear around the front sight. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine base has heavily worn finish toward the forward end.

Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes matching serial number 1918 bayonet, produced by Elsener Schwyz, with scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light scratches. Left side grip has a scratch. Right side grip has a heavy pressure mark. Light surface marks on the pommel.
Scabbard has lightly worn finish and light scratches. Heavy dent on the top of the scabbard.
Leather frog was made by E. Hausler of Urtenen (Bern) in 1945.
