Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1944, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. With matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges throughout the butt. Heavy pressure mark at the forward end of the butt. Light gouging around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges and a mild pressure mark at the forward end of the butt. Light gouge on the wrist. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges along the butt. Mild pressure mark at the rear of the comb and heavy pressure mark at the forward end of the comb. Light gouge on the top of the wrist next to the receiver tang. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark halfway between the barrel bands. Light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light edge wear. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has light edge wear.
No P stamp noted. 53 stamped on the receiver tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1953.
Includes leather sling.
Includes matching serial number 1918 bayonet, produced by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard.
Blade has heavy marks on the edge. Both walnut grips have mild pressure marks. Pommel has light surface marks and light pitting.
Scabbard has heavily worn finish.
