Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1943, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes matching bayonet.
Bolt has a matching electropenciled serial number, common with 1943-44 production K31 carbines.
On the right side there are heavy pressure marks below the finger groove. On the left side there are mild pressure marks on the forward end of the butt and on the wrist. Light gouges on the butt around the sling mount. Light gouge in front of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. Light gouging near the heel of the butt. Handguard has mild to heavy pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light to mild edge wear.
P stamped.
62 stamped on the receiver tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1962.
Includes matching serial number model 1918 bayonet, produced by Elsener Schwyz Victoria, with scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light discoloration at the tip. Right side grip has mild pressure marks. Pommel has light surface marks.
Scabbard has mildly worn finish. Leather frog was made by Jost Spieler of Luzern in 1945.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
