Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1939, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Mild gouge on the lower edge of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are a couple of light gouges and a heavy gouge on the butt before the sling mount. Mild gouges below the comb. Heavy pressure marks forward of the wrist. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge on the pistol grip. On the top of the stock there is a severe gouge next to the receiver tang.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Barrel has lightly worn finish. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has mild to heavy edge wear. Magazine has lightly worn finish.
P stamped.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
Includes matching serial number model 1918 bayonet, produced by Elsener Schwyz, with scabbard and leather frog. Bayonet has light pitting on the blade. Guard has scattered surface marks. Both grip panels have light gouges. Pommel has light surface marks.
Scabbard has heavily worn finish. Leather frog has an illegible sattler stamp but it was made in 1940.
