Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1948, in good condition with 90% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has an unrepaired crack on the right side coming off the cutout for the bolt release lever and an unrepaired crack before the rear barrel band.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy gouges at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure marks on the wrist. Heavy pressure marks around the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is mild gouging on the wrist. Mild gouge at the woodline below the receiver's serial number. Scratches in front of the finger groove. On the underside there is heavy gouging on the butt. Wooden insert to the right of the magazine plate. Light gouging along the comb. Heavy pressure marks on the top of the wrist. Handguard has light gouging near the ferrule.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Barrel has light to mild finish wear. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine base has light to mild finish wear.
P stamped.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
