Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1943, in very good condition with 90% finish. 3/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling, mild pitting in the first 4" of the rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Bolt has an armory replacement bolt sleeve with matching electropenciled serial number, common with K31 Carbines produced 1943-44.
On the right side of the stock there is a light scratch on the wrist. On the left side of the stock there are a few light gouges at the woodline between the wrist and the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging on the butt. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. There are a few light gouges on the comb. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark on the left side above the woodline, near the ferrule.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Light surface marks at the forward end of the receiver. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish.
P stamped.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
