Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1942, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy gouge at the forward end of the butt. Mild pressure marks in front of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is a light gouge on the butt near the pistol grip. Heavy pressure marks above the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are mild to heavy pressure marks along the butt. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Mild pressure marks between the barrel bands. Light gouging on the comb. On the handguard there is a heavy pressure mark near the ferrule, mild pressure marks before the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Rear barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and mild pitting. Magazine base has mild to heavy finish wear.

Soldier’s tag found behind the butt plate.
