Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1942, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Furniture was previously sanded and refinished.
On the right side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark on the butt near the center of the comb. Mild pressure mark below the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt. Heavy pressure marks on and forward of the wrist. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark and light gouge on the butt. Light gouge on the pistol grip. Light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging along the comb. Handguard has light gouging in front of the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Trigger guard has light edge wear.
P stamped.
56 stamped on the receiver tang, indicating armory refurbishment in 1956.
Includes aluminum muzzle cover and leather sling.
