Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1942, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock and handguard has a band of red coloration before the front barrel band, likely a remnant of a previous Schutzenfest inspection band.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark around the center of the butt. Scratch below the bolt release lever. Light gouging below the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is heavy gouging at the rear of the butt near the heel. Mild gouging before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the butt and a heavy gouge on the pistol grip. Mark from a black pen/marker in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish. Magazine plate has lightly worn finish before the trigger guard. Trigger guard has light edge wear. Magazine base has mildly worn finish.
P stamped.
