Swiss W+F Bern K31 Carbine, produced in 1940, in very good condition with 90% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Stock has two cracks on the left side: one crack at the woodline, forward of the wrist, that appears to have been repaired with glue; one unrepaired crack at the woodline, before the finger groove, about 5" in length.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges and mild pressure marks on the butt. Heavy pressure mark at the woodline above the finger groove. On the left side of the stock there is light gouging around the finger groove. Light gouging in front of both barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is light gouging along the butt. Light gouging at the rear of the comb. Handguard has a mild gouge before the rear barrel band and light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish. Front barrel band has lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light edge wear.

Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
