Swiss K31 Carbine, produced in 1939, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there are heavy gouges inside the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. Light gouge halfway between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark on the butt near the rear of the comb. Heavy pressure marks on the wrist. Mild pressure mark before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge and mild pressure mark in front of the magazine plate. Heavy gouging in front of the rear barrel band. Mild pressure mark before the front barrel band. Handguard has mild pressure marks between the ferrule and rear barrel band. Light gouging before the front barrel band.
Heavy pitting on the receiver tang. Receiver has lightly worn finish. Rear barrel band has mildly worn finish and light pitting. Front barrel band has light to mild finish wear and light patina, and light surface marks on the top side.
No P stamp.
Soldier's tag found behind the butt plate.
