Swiss K11 Carbine, produced in 1931, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 2/5 Stock. Stock and handguard matching serial numbers. Bolt matching serial number. Magazine matching serial number. Front sight non-matching serial number (555).
On the right side of the stock, there are a couple of light gouges at the butt, including one above the Swiss ordnance stamp. Light pressure marks along the forearm, from the finger groove to the forward end of the handguard. On the left side of the stock, there are light pressure marks scattered throughout. Mild pressure marks inside the right side of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock, there is a mild pressure mark before the pistol grip. Forward of the magazine plate there are a pair of small, mild gouges. Small, light gouges before the front barrel band. Light pressure marks along the comb. At the receiver tang there is a small, 1/2" crack. The handguard has heavy pressure marks and a light gouge before the rear tangent sight. Light pressure marks between the tangent sight and the rear barrel band. Light gouge and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band.
Receiver has an area of fair finish wear and light to mild patina on the top side at the rear, behind the upper lightening cuts. Light edge around the loading slot. Very light to light finish wear and light edge wear around both barrel bands. Trigger guard has several surface marks and moderate to heavy finish wear. Mild to fair finish wear on the magazine.
Receiver is P 62 stamped, indicating privatization in 1962.
Includes brass muzzle cover and leather sling.
