Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks in front of the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Heavy pressure mark on the forearm, between the barrel bands, running between the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock, there is a light gouge to the left of the magazine plate. Small, deep gouge on the forearm between the barrel bands. Mild pressure marks along the comb. Handguard has mild pressure marks throughout.
Light to mild finish wear on the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
P55 stamped, indicating privatization in 1955. B27 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1927.
Includes matching serial number model 1899 bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet was made by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Blade has light pitting toward the edge. Mild pitting on the right side of the pommel. Scabbard has mild finish wear.
Includes leather sling.
