Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1916, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, the Swiss ordnance stamp is double stamped at the butt. Heavy pressure marks near the magazine catch. On the left side of the stock there is a long, light pressure mark coming off the front of the finger groove and a pair of light scrapes between the handguard and stock, in front of the handguard ferrule. Small gouge on the forearm at the woodline about halfway between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock, there is a heavy pressure mark and a long, thin gouge behind the front barrel band. Handguard has a heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear and light surface scratches throughout. Both barrel bands have light to mild finish wear. Light finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P63 stamped, indicating privatization in 1963. 33 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1933.
Includes matching serial number model 1899 bayonet with scabbard, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen. Blade is in excellent condition. Light handling wear on the pommel and handle. Scabbard has very little finish wear.
Includes leather sling.
