Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Furniture had been previously sanded.
On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges on the pistol grip. Light gouge on the forearm between the barrel bands. Light gouge on the comb of the stock and a small 1/4" crack at the tang.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Mild patina at the rear of the receiver. Both barrel bands have light finish wear. Light pitting and mild finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
P56 stamped, indicating privatization in 1956.
Includes matching serial number model 1899 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with steel scabbard. Mild pitting along the tip of the blade. Light pitting on the pommel. Pommel is P stamped on the left side. Scabbard has mild finish wear.
Includes leather sling.
