W+F Bern Swiss 1911 w/ Bayonet - sn 415xxx
Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1916, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the pistol grip. Light gouge on the forearm in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are mild scratches on the butt near the forward end of the comb. Scratches on the wrist. Light gouging between the wrist and the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks on the rear and forward edges of the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the pistol grip. Light gouging on the wrist around the trigger guard. Handguard has heavy pressure marks before the rear barrel band.
Receiver has light to mild edge wear. Light surface marks on the rear of the receiver. Mild finish wear over the chamber. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mildly worn finish. Magazine plate has heavily worn finish. Trigger guard has heavily worn finish and mild surface marks. Magazine has heavy edge wear and heavy finish wear.
Receiver is P56 stamped, indicating privatization in 1956.

Includes matching serial number 1889 bayonet, manufactured by Waffenfabrik Neuhausen, with scabbard and leather frog.
Bayonet has grinding marks throughout the blade. Light pitting at the tip of the blade. Mild surface marks on the mortise and barrel ring. Light to mild surface marks on the pommel.
Scabbard finish is heavily worn. Leather frog was made in Neuendorf (Solothurn) in 1916.
