Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1918, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped. Matching serial number.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Double stamped with Swiss ordnance stamp. Light gouging around the finger groove and between the finger groove and rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges on the butt above the rear sling mount. Pressure marks between the wrist and finger groove. Light gouging around the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there is a light gouge on the pistol grip. Mild pressure marks and light gouging in front of the magazine plate. Light gouge halfway between the barrel bands. Heavy pressure marks along the comb. On the top side of the handguard there is light gouging between the barrel bands. On the left side of the handguard, there is a scrape at the woodline in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavy edge wear at the rear and light to mild edge wear around the loading slot. Light surface marks throughout. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish and mild patina. Barrel has heavily worn finish and mild patina around the muzzle. Heavy finish wear on the trigger guard. Heavy edge wear and finish wear on the magazine.
P stamped. 32 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1932.
