Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 80% finish. 4/5 Bore (light pitting throughout). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
On the right side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouge over the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are light gouges before the finger groove, near the magazine. Heavy gouge behind the rear barrel band and a light gouge and heavy pressure mark in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark rear of the pistol grip. Handguard has a heavy gouge between the barrel bands that has been sanded.
Receiver has mild to heavy finish wear and heavy patina throughout. Light to mild pitting throughout the receiver. There is a small area of light pitting inside the operating rod channel which is causing the operating rod to feel stiffer than normal. Both barrel bands have mildly worn finish and mild patina. Trigger guard has mild patina and light surface marks.
Receiver is P stamped.
