Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (dull bore, lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Handling wear on the bolt knobs.
On the right side of the stock, there are mild to heavy gouges on the butt near the toe. Heavy gouging on the pistol grip and wrist. Mild to heavy pressure marks on the wrist. Light gouging around the finger groove. Mild gouge behind the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are a pair of large, shallow pressure marks at the center of the butt, and scattered light gouges throughout the butt. Light to mild gouge on the wrist. Light gouge at the woodline above the magazine. Light gouging in front of the magazine catch. On the underside of the stock, there is a light gouge on the butt behind the pistol grip. Light to mild gouges along the comb, and a light gouge in front of the comb. Handguard has light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver has light to mild edge wear around the loading slot. Mild surface mark at the rear of the receiver and light surface marks over the chamber. Rear barrel band has lightly worn finish. Front barrel band has heavily worn finish. Trigger guard and magazine has heavily worn finish.
Receiver is P52 stamped, indicating privatization in 1952.
