Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 90% finish. 3/5 Bore (bright bore, but with mild to moderately worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked. Lower bolt knob is chipped.
On the right side of the stock, there is a mild gouge on the butt near the heel. Light gouge on the forward end of the butt. Heavy pressure mark and a light gouge on the forearm between the barrel bands. On the left side of the stock, there is a heavy gouge on the butt, below the center of the comb. Gouging and pressure marks at the forward end of the butt, above the pistol grip. Light gouging forward of the wrist, over the trigger. On the underside of the stock, there are mild pressure marks behind the rear barrel band. Handguard has a long scratch between the barrel bands.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish. Magazine base finish is mildly worn.
Receiver is P53 stamped, indicating privatization in 1953.
Includes leather sling.
