Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in good condition with 80% finish. 3/5 Bore (worn rifling, light to mild pitting). 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Lower bolt knob is cracked.
On the right side of the stock there is a mild gouge on the butt near the comb. Large, shallow gouge behind the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Heavy gouging near the forward end of the comb. Light to mild pressure marks on the forearm between the barrel bands. On the underside of the stock there is a large, shallow gouge at the butt, behind the pistol grip. Light gouging around the rear receiver screw. Handguard has mild pressure marks throughout the rear half. Large, shallow gouge behind the rear barrel band. Mild pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has heavy finish wear and mild patina. Rear barrel band has light to mild finish wear. Fair to moderate finish wear on the front barrel band. Mild finish wear on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P58 stamped, indicating privatization in 1958.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
