Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1916, in good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked and was sanded down.
Stock has an unrepaired 2.5" crack on the left side at the wrist.
On the right side of the stock, there are light gouges on the butt along the comb. Heavy pressure marks on the wrist. Heavy pressure marks between the bolt release lever and the finger groove. Light gouging behind the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks at the rear of the butt. Heavy gouge at the bottom of the butt. Mild pressure marks toward the forward end of the butt. Mild pressure marks along the woodline before the finger groove. Light gouging along the comb.
Receiver has mild to heavy finish wear. Rear barrel band has heavily worn finish. Front barrel band has mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard has lightly worn finish and light patina. Light surface marks throughout the trigger guard. Magazine has heavily worn finish.
Receiver is P37 stamped, indicating privatization in 1937. 29 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1929.
Includes leather sling.
