Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Tiger striping throughout the butt.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light gouge next to the Swiss ordnance stamp. A gouge above the magazine was filled in with wood filler. Mild pressure marks and light gouges around the finger groove. On the left side of the stock, there are mild to heavy pressure marks throughout the butt. Light gouges along the bottom of the butt. Light gouging in front of the trigger guard. Light gouging and mild to heavy pressure marks around the finger groove. Mild pressure marks around the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there are heavy pressure marks on the rear of the pistol grip. Mild gouge in front of the magazine plate. Handguard has a mild gouge and heavy pressure mark between the barrel bands.
Receiver finish is lightly worn. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Light patina over the chamber and on the right side of the receiver. Rear barrel band finish is heavily worn. Front barrel band finish is mildly worn. Trigger guard has light finish wear. Mild patina on the magazine base.
Receiver is P stamped. ·25 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1925.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
