Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 85% finish. 5/5 Bore. 3/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the rear barrel band.
Stock has an armory repaired 1.5" crack on the left side at the wrist.
On the right side of the stock there is a mild pressure mark at the rear of the butt and heavy pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there is a light to mild gouge at the forward end of the butt. Heavy gouge before the rear barrel band. Heavy gouge in front of the rear barrel band, between the stock and handguard. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges on the wrist. X mark carved behind the front barrel band. Light gouging along the comb. Gouge on the top of the wrist at the receiver tang. The handguard has a heavy pressure mark near the ferrule.
Receiver has light to mild finish wear. Light surface marks throughout the receiver. Mild finish wear around the barrel shank. Both barrel bands have light edge wear and light surface marks. Heavy finish wear around the muzzle.
No P stamp noted. C24 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1924.
