Swiss 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1916, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (very light pitting in the grooves). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers except for the bolt knob.
Both bolt knobs are cracked. Upper bolt knob is chipped.
Stock has tiger striping at the butt, along the comb.
On the right side of the stock, there is a light gouge at the front of the grip. Heavy pressure mark above the finger groove. Light gouge between the barrel bands, between the stock and handguard. On the left side of the stock, there is a long, thin gouge at the butt. Mild pressure mark on the right edge of the finger groove. Mild pressure marks around the rear barrel band. Heavy checker-pattern pressure mark behind the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock, there are heavy pressure marks on the pistol grip. White paint transfer before the front barrel band.
Receiver has light edge wear and light surface marks throughout. Both barrel bands have light to mild finish wear. Light finish wear and light patina on the magazine plate and trigger guard.
Receiver is P51 stamped, indicating privatization in 1951.
Includes leather sling.
