Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1915, in very good condition with 80% finish. 5/5 Bore. 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers. Includes matching bayonet.
On the right side of the stock there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks throughout the butt. Heavy gouge on the woodline below the receiver, before the finger groove. Heavy pressure marks in front of the finger groove. On the underside of the stock there are light gouges before the rear barrel and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band. Light gouge around the center of the comb. Handguard has light to mild gouging near the ferrule.
Receiver has lightly worn finish, light patina, and light to mild pitting. Both barrel bands have heavily worn finish and mild to heavy patina. Magazine plate has mild to heavy finish wear. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish and mild patina. Magazine base is in the white.
P61 stamped receiver, indicating privatization in 1961.
WF26 stamped below the serial number, indicating refurbishment by Waffenfabrik Bern in 1926.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
Includes matching serial number model 1889 bayonet, produced by SIG Neuhausen, with scabbard and leather frog.
Blade has light grinding marks throughout. Right side grip has a mild pressure mark. Left side grip has a heavy pressure mark. Pommel has mild to heavy pitting on the right side and light pitting on the left side.
Scabbard has heavy patina and mild pitting. Leather frog has a mostly illegible sattler stamp, but it was produced in 1929.
