Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in Fair condition with 90% finish. 2/5 Bore (heavy pitting). 1/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Upper bolt knob is cracked and gouged. Lower bolt knob was chipped and reattached with glue.
Stock has an unrepaired 2" crack on the right side at the wrist.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges at the rear of the butt and a heavy gouge below the center of the comb. Heavy pressure marks in front of the rear barrel band. Heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are mild pressure marks and light gouges on the butt. Mild gouging rear of the wrist and heavy gouging on the wrist. Mild gouging in front of the rear barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is heavy gouging behind the pistol grip. Mild gouge in front of the magazine plate. Light gouge before the rear barrel band. Mild pressure mark and light gouging before the front barrel band. On the top of the stock there is light gouging on the comb. Handguard has light gouging at the rear and light gouging between the barrel bands.
Receiver has lightly worn finish and light surface marks. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Trigger guard has mildly worn finish and light patina.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
