Swiss W+F Bern 1911 Infantry Rifle, produced in 1917, in very good condition with 85% finish. 4/5 Bore (lightly worn rifling). 4/5 Stock. All matching serial numbers.
Both bolt knobs are chipped.
On the right side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouge before the finger groove. Mild pressure marks inside the finger groove. Light gouging before the rear barrel band. On the left side of the stock there are light gouges on the butt. Light gouging on the wrist. Long scratch inside the finger groove. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band and a heavy pressure mark before the front barrel band. On the underside of the stock there is a heavy pressure mark on the butt and heavy pressure marks in front of the magazine plate. Light gouging along the comb. Handguard has light gouging between the ferrule and rear barrel band. Light gouging in front of the rear barrel band.
Receiver has lightly worn finish, mild edge wear, and light surface marks. Both barrel bands have lightly worn finish and light patina. Magazine plate and trigger guard have mild to heavy finish wear. Magazine base is in the white.
P stamped receiver.
31 stamped below the serial number, indicating armory refurbishment in 1931.
Includes muzzle cover and leather sling.
